Betway Online Casino To Get Live Dealer Games

October 5, 2015

Microgaming and Evolution Gaming are intense rivals in the live dealer casino games arena, and have been so ever since this form of remote gaming made an appearance. They have been vying for the best online casino brands in the market place. Now for the first time ever they are collaborating in this field and Microgaming powered Betway online casino will be the first beneficiary.

A Microgaming announcement late last month stated that it has entered into a collaborative deal with the leading live dealer online casino games supplier Evolution Gaming. As a result of this deal, Evolution will become the preferred provider of Live Casino services to Microgaming's customers. Betway online casino will be the first Microgaming operator to take on Evolution's Live Casino solution. Integration of the live dealer platform with Betway’s software platform is already well underway. However, no final date for the live dealer casino becoming operational has been announced.

Betway will launch Evolution's complete Live Casino offering across both desktop and mobile, allowing players to engage in a more realistic form of online gambling while on the move. Betway customers in a number of markets will benefit from this new product. Most of the live dealer casino games will be video streamed from Evolution's Latvia studio. These will include the standard and the VIP live games. Localized Live Casino services such as London Roulette will be streamed from native-speaking tables at Evolution's Malta studio.

Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, also released his statement on this occasion. He said that Evolution was 100% focused on B2B Live Casino products. They have made significant and sustained investment in skills and infrastructure towards this and have become a dominant player in the Live Casino market. Microgaming believes in delivering the best to its customers, and this deal will go a long way in meeting the objective. Raatgever added, “We offer a fully-rounded, unrivalled gaming offering to our clients, and this agreement cements our commitment to continually deliver this.” He also said that the relationship with Evolution would be strengthened in the future through the potential provision of Microgaming content via the Quickfire platform.

Jens von Bahr, CEO of Evolution, said, “This is likely to be one of the most significant strategic deals in the history of Live Casino gaming.” He praised the high standards set by Microgaming. He pointed out that the objective of this alliance was to offer the world's best Live Casino to Microgaming's extensive licensee base.
