Big Online Slots Announced By Microgaming

The first is a branded video slot based on the pop group Village People. Microgaming has announced a licensing deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment to develop an exclusive online slot Village People. The disco group, founded in 1977, derives its name from New York City's Greenwich Village. The slot machine will include the group’s most memorable hits including dancefloor classics such as Y.M.C.A., Go West and Macho Man. Village People will also feature three members from the original line up. They are popularly known as Biker, Cowboy and Construction Worker. They will take the online casino players on a nostalgic musical journey. Details about the structure and gaming features about the slot game have not yet been released. Village People will go live only in 2019, so there is a long wait. Andrew Clucas, COO of Microgaming, said, “Village People is an iconic brand that has created an impact on pop culture with songs that have remained popular with mainstream audiences since the 70s and 80s.” He added that Village People will add a new dimension to the extensive Microgaming portfolio of branded content.

Agent Jane Blonde is no less than a brand. Ever since its release in 2005, Agent Jane Blonde has been one of the most popular video slots at Microgaming portfolio online casinos. Now, the games supplier has announced that womankind’s answer to James Bond will feature in a sequel video slot titled Agent Jane Blonde Returns. This sequel is being produced exclusively for Microgaming by Stormcraft Studios. Some details about the upcoming slot have been provided by Microgaming. Agent Jane Blonde Returns will have a 5x3 reel structure with 15 paylines, same as the original. In order to make the slot machine more contemporary, there will be neon and retro wave inspired graphics. The gaming features will include stacked wilds and a respin feature. Players at Canadian Microgaming powered online casinos will recall the Fortunium slot machine also created by Stormcraft Studios. No release date has been announced for Agent Jane Blonde Returns, but hopefully it will be in this year.
